New Eureka blu ray releases: Andy Lau The Adventurers and a Chang Cheh double-bill
Eureka have just announced their titles for April 2025.
A double-bill of Chang Cheh films with THE MAGNIFICENT CHANG CHEH boxset, featuring THE MAGNIFICENT TRIO (1966) and MAGNIFICENT WANDERERS (1977).
With a cast of Jimmy Wang Yu, Lo Lieh, Alexander Fu Sheng amongst other legendary actors of that era and packed with extra features, fans of Hong Kong wuxia action should definitely give this a look.
The only Ringo Lam and Andy Lau collab, THE ADVENTURERS (1995) gets a 2k restoration and release. A great film amongst the heroic bloodshed sub-genre, with a huge cast including Andy Lau, Rosamund Kwan Chi Lam, Jacklyn Wu, serial bad guy role actor Paul Chun Pui, David Chiang and Victor Wong from BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA.
Both have a limited print run, so get them on the Terracotta Distribution store whilst you can.
