Hong Sang-soo films

Best Hong Sang-soo films. A list of movies by Hong Sang-soo, a Korean director with a distinctive style blending naturalism/ realism. His characters are frequently actors and directors who find themselves in awkward situations during some part of the film-making process and often feature scenes of the characters engaged in soju-fuelled conversations.

Not as well known as other of his contemporaries such as Bong Joon-ho or Park Chan-wook, Hong Sang-soo has gained a cult-following through his films being shown internationally at film festivals and his films are rarely found on bluray and DVD.
