Tetsuo (Hideki Takahashi, FIGHTING ELEGY), is a low-level yakuza who is double-crossed by his boss and attacked. His younger brother Kenji (Kotobuki Hananomoto, THIS TRANSIENT LIFE), is an aspiring artist with no connections to crime, who comes to his aid and kills Tetsuo's assailant.

Fascinated by a textbook full of drawings of dissections, Hiroshi is drawn to a medical school where he catches the eye of a fellow student.
