Golden Harvest Films

List of Golden Harvest films on the Terracotta store. Golden Harvest was founded in Hong Kong in 1970 by Raymond Chow and Leonard Ho after the pair departed Shaw Brothers, and rapidly established itself as the dominant force in Hong Kong cinema throughout the following two decades.

The studio was responsible for launching the international careers of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, producing landmark films including ENTER THE DRAGON and the POLICE STORY series that reshaped global perceptions of martial arts cinema.

After decades of commercial dominance, Golden Harvest gradually wound down its production activities in the late 1990s and 2000s as the Hong Kong film industry contracted, though its legacy remains foundational to the canon of Asian action cinema.
