Donnie Yen returns in the second instalment of the martial arts legend franchise, Ip Man.

IP MAN 2 (2010) is directed by Wilson Yip, with action choreography by Sammo Hung. Carrying on from the first IP MAN film, Master Ip Man and his family settle in British ruled Hong Kong in 1949, where Ip opens a kung fu school to bring his celebrated art of Wing Chun to the troubled youth of the city.

His growing reputation soon brings challenges to his doorstep from rival schools, including Hung Ga master Hung Chun-nam (Sammo Hung). However, when corrupt colonial officials stage a life-or-death contest with formidable British boxer Twister (Darren Shahlavi) to humiliate the Chinese people, the eyes of the nation are once again on Grandmaster Ip Man. Simon Yam, Huang Xiaoming and Lynn Hung also star, and a young Bruce Lee appears as a boy eager to learn Wing Chun. Sammo Hung won Best Action Choreography at the 30th Hong Kong Film Awards for his work on the film.
