Eureka June 2023 announcements
New titles out from Eureka Entertainment this June:
LADY REPORTER (1989) starring Cynthia Rothrock (aka The Blonde Fury, aka The Female Reporter).
Rothrock plays an undercover FBI agent posing as a journalist to infiltrate a newspaper organisation which is suspected of being a front for a major drug trafficking operation.
The only Hong Kong film to date which stars a Western actress in the lead role.
SAMURAI REINCARNATION (1981) - directed by Kinji Fukusaku (Battle Royale) is a spectacular chanbara fantasy epic, with a stellar cast of Japanese actors (Sonny Chiba, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ken Ogata, Kenji Sawada and Akiko Kana).
REVENGE (1964) - A cruel jidaigeki masterwork from director Tadashi Imai (Cruel Tale of Bushido) and screenwriter Shinobu Hashimoto, the writer of Masaki Kobayashi’s great masterpiece Harakiri.
