Chow Yun Fat plays a hitman whose latest job takes a wrong turn when he causes collataral damage in a gun fight, accidentally blinding a nightclub singer (Sally Yeh).

Racked with remorse, he decides to retire from his life of crime and help her get a cornea transplant.  But of course, once you're in the life of the underworld, it's never that easy to leave...
