SUMMER TIME MACHINE BLUES
Third Window Films celebrates 15 years this year. With a vast catalogue of Korean action and Japanese thrillers and dramas, perhaps they are most well known for their ground-breaking Japanese quirky comedies (like ONE CUT OF THE DEAD and BEYOND THE INFINITE TWO MINUTES).
Summer Time Machine Blues is another great comedy from Third Window Films with a loveable cast and improbable premise.
Members of the university Sci-Fi Club hang about during the summer in the clubhouse with the air-con blasting. When the air-con remote is accidentally broken, the friends are forced to face the full heat of summer. The next day they discover a working time machine. Now they can go back to before the remote broke and cool down again. If only time travel was that simple...
Hilarious and a big hit in Japan.
You can pre-order Summer Time Machine Blues here.
