The film follows a Korean handmaiden hired to wait on a Japanese heiress who lives a secluded life on a lavish estate; the story evolves with ever elaborate plots and twists with the tension increasing slowly throughout the film.

This 2-disc special edition boxset comes with a beautifully design slipcover and two versions of the film - Theatrical Cut and Extended cut.
