The greatest action film ever, now looking as good as it always should have.

I recently bought John Woo’s Bullet in the Head, The Killer and Hard Boiled from Terracotta. Once again, packaging and care taken with the items was astounding. Always feel so safe ordering from them. The movies? Some of the best I’ve ever seen. I could not recommend them enough to anyone and everyone. Hard Boiled has the most practical looking gun fights ever, literally everything on set is exploding. It’s absolutely ridiculous and incredibly cool. If you like action movies at all, please watch it! Once again Terracotta, you’ve outdone yourself. Looking forward to more movies soon!

Great little movie! I saw this during a film festival few years back and this movies stayed with me as one of the greatest movies about making movies.

Why is this film called Fish Story? You have to watch it to find out. What I can tell you is that this is one of the funniest, compelling, and satisfying films you'll ever watch - not just in terms of Japanese cinema, but in all of film history. Its premise first suggests an anthology film, by chatting different decades in order to see how a Japanese punk band in the 1970s eventually stops an asteroid hitting earth in the near future. Action, horror, comedy, and more - this film has it all. I've watched it many times, and it's always entertaining.

Terracotta did an outstanding job. I received a conformation email straight after my order and there after was well informed at every step of the process. The only issue I had was with Royal Mail.
When I received my parcel, the packaging was the correct size for the copy of Hard Boiled I had ordered. It was wrapped in bubble wrap so well, I was impressed.

I’m so helplessly drawn to Mika Ninagawa’s flair for sumptuous imagery that even without Sakuran’s emotional backbone, I’d still be utterly smitten. The recurring goldfish shots – bowls, tanks, glinting scales – may be hammering their metaphor home with a touch more force than necessary, but they’re so ravishing I can’t bring myself to object. And besides, the symbolism fits like a glove: those prized yet confined Jikin goldfish echo the oiran’s existence perfectly – treasured, ornamental and never far from the threat of harsh correction.
