POLICE STORY 2 (1988) raises the stakes considerably as the same criminals return for revenge. Once again co-starring Maggie Cheung, the film escalates relentlessly to a factory warehouse finale engulfed in pyrotechnics - one of the most kinetic action sequences of the decade.
POLICE STORY 3: SUPERCOP (1992) takes Chan Ka-Kui undercover in mainland China alongside Inspector Yang - played by Michelle Yeoh in the role that launched her international career. Directed by Stanley Tong, SUPERCOP features helicopter rooftop sequences and a climactic fight atop a moving train that remain as breathtaking now as they were in 1992.
