THE POLICE STORY TRILOGY on 4K UHD SteelBook is Eureka Classics' limited edition of Jackie Chan's three landmark action films, strictly limited to 2,000 copies worldwide and due for release on 18th January 2027. This region free set comes in SteelBook packaging with new artwork by Robert Bruno, and presents each film on its own Ultra HD Blu-ray disc in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) from 4K restorations, with optional English subtitles.

POLICE STORY (1985) is the film that changed action cinema forever. Chan Ka-Kui, the fearless cop who refuses to play by the rules, takes on a ruthless drug lord in a film packed with some of the most extraordinary practical stunt work ever captured on camera. Jackie Chan performs the stunts himself: a pulse-racing shopping mall showdown, a double-decker bus chase, and a breathtaking slide down a pole strung with exploding bulbs. Disc one presents the 4K Hong Kong theatrical cut (100 minutes) alongside the alternate "Police Force" export cut (88 minutes, 1080p).

POLICE STORY 2 (1988) raises the stakes considerably as the same criminals return for revenge. Once again co-starring Maggie Cheung and Bill Tung, the film escalates relentlessly to a factory warehouse finale engulfed in pyrotechnics, one of the most kinetic action sequences of the decade. Disc two offers the 4K Extended cut (121 minutes) plus the Hong Kong theatrical version (105 minutes) and the export version (95 minutes) in 1080p.

POLICE STORY 3: SUPERCOP (1992) takes Chan Ka-Kui undercover in mainland China alongside Inspector Yang, played by Michelle Yeoh in the role that launched her international career. Directed by Stanley Tong, SUPERCOP features helicopter rooftop sequences and a climactic fight atop a moving train that remain as breathtaking now as they were in 1992. Disc three presents the 4K Hong Kong theatrical cut (96 minutes, with Cantonese Dolby Atmos) and the US version (91 minutes, 1080p), including the "American English" dub in which Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh voice their own characters.

Special features across the three discs include audio commentaries from Asian film experts Frank Djeng and F.J. DeSanto and action cinema experts Mike Leeder and Arne Venema, archival interviews with Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Stanley Tong and Ken Lo, the Jackie Chan episode of Son of the Incredibly Strange Film Show presented by Jonathan Ross, alternate and deleted scenes, outtakes and trailers.

Which edition should you choose? The standard edition of THE POLICE STORY TRILOGY on 4K UHD is available now, while this limited edition SteelBook is a pre-order for 18th January 2027. For the first two films on Blu-ray, see JACKIE CHAN'S POLICE STORY and POLICE STORY 2 on Blu-ray, or browse the Jackie Chan Collection.
