Mad martial arts mayhem from Hong Kong's action cinema family the Yuen Clan with this double-bill of two Taoist films: TAOISM DRUNKARD (1984) and THE YOUNG TAOISM FIGHTER (1986)

In the wake of ENCOUNTER OF THE SPOOKY KIND, the Hong Kong film industry launched headlong into a prolific genre cycle that drew upon Taoist folklore. Popular throughout the 1980s and into the next decade, these films combined elements of horror, fantasy, comedy, sometimes John Carpenter style special effects and martial arts as they pit their protagonists against hopping vampires, vengeful ghosts, and evil sorcerers.

Eureka release of two such films here in this special edition two-disc blu ray set.
